Our patented AFESK™ technology (Adaptive Functional Electrical Stimulation Kinesitherapy), finds application in the workstation VIK16 and the portable solution VIK8, electrical stimuli are delivered through surface electrodes or our AFESK™ Suit in a non-invasive way.
You can think of VIK16 and VIK8 as tools to direct and enhance Neuroplasticity processes.
We are able to physiologically deliver our AI-integrated AFESK™ functional electrical stimulation in order to promote the return of function and control of complex movement.
Perfect synchronization of AFESK™ programs and active movement performed by the patient is one of the key elements of the entire process.
In order to achieve this, VIK16 and VIK8 share both acoustic feedback and an AI-integrated AFESK™ sensor capable of auto-detecting movement patterns performed by the patient and auto adjust AFESK™ response to variations.
